Oreo Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Oreo cookies (1 lb.)
    1 stick melted butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding (small box)
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Crush cookies and add butter.
    Mix well and press in the bottom of 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Place in refrigerator.
    Cream together until smooth the cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 of Cool Whip.
    Spread over the cookies and return the pan to the refrigerator.
    Prepare the chocolate pudding with 3 1/2 cups of milk.
    Do not use 4 cups.
    Pour pudding on top of the cream cheese mixture.
    Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding and sprinkle with pecan pieces.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
