Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 lb. (#303) can cream-style corn (yellow)
    1/2 to 1 lb. ground meat
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    2 to 4 jalapeno peppers (usually 2)
    1 onion
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, eggs, milk, soda, salt, corn and bacon drippings.
    Set aside.
    Saute ground meat and drain.
    Separately prepare 1 large onion, cheese and jalapenos and mix together. Pour into greased skillet (heated) with a fine layer of corn meal sprinkled and browned.
    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven or until springs back.
