Salmon Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flaked salmon
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 1/2 tsp. chopped parsley
    2 tsp. chopped onion
    1/4 c. pickle
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in butter. To beaten egg, add milk and blend into flour mixture.
    Divide dough into two pieces and roll each piece 1/3-inch thick in a circle shape.
    Blend together salmon, mayonnaise, parsley, onion, pickle, salt and pepper.
    Place one shortcake on greased baking sheet; spread with filling.
    Cover with other shortcake and bake in hot (425\u00b0) oven for about 20 minutes or until done.
    Melt cheese for sauce on top.
