Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 small to medium size cucumbers, sliced thin with skin on
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients together. Cover with ice water. Let stand 1 hour.
    Drain.
    Heat to a good boil the remaining ingredients.
    Cool.
    Add to cucumber mixture.
    Store in refrigerator or freezer. Best if not eaten for several days.
