Summer Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder or salt
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 Tbsp. whole black pepper
2 tsp. liquid smoke
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. Morton Tender Care Quick cure salt
Preparation

Mix all ingredients in large bowl, then make loaves and wrap in aluminum foil.
Put shiny side of foil to the meat. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
Next day, poke hole in bottom of foil with toothpick.
Place in rack or broiler pan over 1/2 inch of water.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 90 minutes.
Let cool before refrigerating.
