Cake In A Punch Bowl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix, baked or ready made angel food or sponge cake
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    3 bananas, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with syrup
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries or 1 qt. fresh
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    nuts and cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Cut or break cake into bite-sized pieces and place in the bottom of punch bowl (or any large bowl).
    Prepare pudding according to directions.
    Layer over cake.
    Layer remaining ingredients in following order:
    bananas, pineapple, strawberries and whipped topping.
    Garnish with nuts and cherries and/or more strawberries.
