Roast Beef Cafe Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large (3 to 6 lb.) roast
salt and pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. gravy seasoning (optional)
1 (10 oz.) container Coca-Cola or cola beverage

Preparation

Place the roast in a large roasting pan.
Pour the cola beverage over it.
Let it stand for about 10 minutes.
Roast in 425\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes per pound.
Salt near the end of the cooking time and check for degree of \"doneness\" you wish.
