Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix with pudding
    2 sticks oleo
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 c. nuts
    1 bag caramels (14 oz. size)
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as directed on box.
    Divide into half.
    Set aside 1/2 batter.
    Add to first half 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk and 1 stick oleo.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan; bake for 35 minutes at 300\u00b0.
