Pork Chops Spanish Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 pork chops or steaks
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 c. uncooked rice
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
Brown meat in hot shortening.
Drain.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a 1 1/2-quart greased baking dish, combine tomatoes with liquid, rice, butter and 1 teaspoon salt.
Arrange meat over rice.
Bake for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Serves 4.
