Crystal Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs or 1 c.
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease and flour Bundt or tube pan.
    Thoroughly cream shortening.
    Gradually add sugar and cream well.
    Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt and add alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour. Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
