Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat until blended.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
    Stir in vanilla, chocolate chips and pecans.
    Divide mixture into thirds.
    Spoon each third onto an ungreased cookie sheet, spreading into an 8 1/2-inch circle.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Gently remove from cookie sheets and let cool on wire racks.
    Makes 3 (10-inch) cookies.
