24-Hour Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
8 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Preparation

Layer lettuce, green pepper, celery and peas.
Mix sugar with mayonnaise and spread on top.
Sprinkle cheese and bacon on top of mayonnaise.
Cover with Saran Wrap
Store in refrigerator overnight.
Toss before serving.
