Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, minced
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. flour
    10 1/2 oz. chicken broth
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    1/2 tsp. tarragon, crushed
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. ground thyme
    black pepper to taste
    1 c. nonfat milk
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine over high heat until soft.
    Add flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Gradually add chicken broth.
    Add broccoli, tarragon, garlic powder, thyme and black pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
    Add milk and simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
    Add 1/4 at a time to blender and blend at medium speed until smooth.
    Return to saucepan and simmer until heated through.
