Perfect Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time; add alternatively whipping cream and flour.
    Add vanilla.
    Place cake in tube pan and put in cold oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Do not open oven doors to peek!
