Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    6 ripe bananas
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add mashed bananas.
    Add soda, salt and baking powder to flour and sift together.
    Add to other ingredients.
    Last, add chopped nuts. Bake in 3 loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    (This bread freezes well.)
