Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
3 c. plain flour
2/3 c. self-rising flour
1 c. black walnuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and Crisco in large mixing bowl; add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
Alternately add flour and milk, beating until creamy.
Add flavoring and nuts.
Pour mixture in greased cake pan (I use tube pan).
Bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
