Slushy Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. jello
    1 large can pineapple juice
    1 qt. orange juice
    juice of 5 lemons (not bottled juice)
    2 large bottles ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water for 3 minutes.
    Add jello; mix until dissolved.
    Add juices.
    Stir and freeze (in plastic ice cream bucket).
    Set out 2 hours before serving in bowl.
    Add 2 large bottles ginger ale.
    Makes 2 large punch bowls full.
