Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Beat in flour and lemon juice.
    Spread batter into well-greased 10 x 15-inch jellyroll pan.
    With a knife, mark off dough into 20 squares.
    Place 1 heaping tablespoonful pie filling in center of each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
    Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
