Copper Pennies(Marinated Carrots) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 medium onions, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Parboil carrots until tender.
    When mixed, place in a bowl and mix in onions and peppers.
    Heat sugar and vinegar in saucepan until sugar dissolves.
    Add spices, tomato soup and oil slowly. Stir until well blended.
    Allow to cool, then pour over vegetables; mix and allow to marinate in refrigerator several days (at least 24 hours).
