Stuffed Dates - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. shredded orange peel
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    walnut halves
    48 pitted dates
Preparation
    Cream margarine, blend in syrup, peel, vanilla and salt.
    Add sugar and mix with spoon, then knead with hands.
    Wrap in foil and chill 24 hours.
    Wrap each nut with 1/2 teaspoon candy and stuff into dates.
