Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 lb. peaches, peeled and sliced (3 c.)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 c. half and half cream
    1/2 c. heavy or whipping cream
Preparation
    Mash peaches with sugar and lemon juice in bowl.
    Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
    Stir in creams; transfer to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
    Makes 6 cups.
