Hot Clam Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 green pepper, finely chopped
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams, drained
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    8 Tbsp. catsup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, melt butter.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Put over direct heat and saute 3 minutes.
    Put back on double boiler.
    Add minced clams, cheese, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sherry and red pepper.
    Cook until cheese melts, stirring all the time.
