Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. (16 oz. can) Hershey's syrup
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
In large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar and eggs until thoroughly blended. Add flour and baking soda, blending well.
Add syrup; mix thoroughly.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Frost as desired.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
