Highbush Cranberry Catsup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chopped onions
4 lb. highbush cranberries
2 c. water
2 c. vinegar
2 c. white sugar
2 c. dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp. ground cloves
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
Boil together until soft the onions, cranberries and water. Rub through a sieve; discard seeds.
Then add the rest of the ingredients.
Boil until thick.
Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
