Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round beef
    1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. butter
    2 onions, finely chopped
    1 can tomato soup
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. soy sauce
    1 c. sour cream
    minced parsley (if desired)
Preparation
    Cut meat in very thin strips; trim off excess fat.
    Brown meat and mushrooms in butter.
    Add onions.
    Combine soup, tomato paste and seasoning.
    Add to meat mixture.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
    Thicken gravy if desired.
    Serve in rings of fluffy hot rice.
    Garnish with parsley.
