Fresh Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium cucumbers, unpeeled
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar (less sugar if you desire less sweet)
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and slice very thin (1/16-inch).
    Place in stainless steel or glass container with finely chopped onion and green pepper.
    Toss with salt and mustard seed and let stand for 1 hour.
    Drain off as much juice as possible, without losing mustard seed.
