Whole Wheat Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/4 c. dry milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 envelope dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. very warm water
    1 egg
    1 c. white flour
Preparation
    Mix the first 6 ingredients.
    Add the very warm water.
    Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add the egg and 1/2 cup white flour. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
    Add 1/2 cup white flour (or enough to make a thick batter).
    Cover and let rise about 1hour. Stir down and fill muffin pans 1/2 full.
    (Raisins, bananas, apples or other fruits may be added before filling pans.) Let rise about 1 hour. Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
