Chocolate Caramel Gold Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat eggs, sugar, mayonnaise and vanilla with mixer; add flour and baking soda.
    Set aside 1 cup of batter. Spread remaining batter into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Melt caramels with milk over low heat; pour over cooled batter and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Spoon reserved batter by teaspoon over nuts. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cut into squares when cool.
