Frozen Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    3 sliced bananas
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
    dash of salt
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple (crushed or chunks)
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    Drain fruits.
    Blend sugar, cream cheese and salt.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Stir in fruits and nuts and pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch glass dish.
    Cover and freeze.
    Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving time and cut into squares.
    Serve on lettuce and garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
    Makes 12 to 15 servings.
