Greek Bean Soup(Fasolatha) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Northern beans
    1 small can tomatoes
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/2 c. olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak beans in water overnight.
    Rinse beans and cover generously with water.
    Cover pot; allow to simmer slowly for about 2 hours.
    Add hot water while cooking to keep beans covered.
