Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/4 lb. margarine, melted
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
4 bananas, sliced lengthwise
1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks, drained
Cool Whip
chopped nuts
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Combine cookie crumbs and melted margarine. Press into oblong cake pan. Combine eggs, vanilla, powdered sugar and 1/4 pound butter. Beat for 2 minutes and spread over crumbs in pan. Press sliced bananas and pineapple into filling. Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped nuts and cherries. Chill.
