Custard Pie (1) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for one 9-inch pie crust
    3 eggs
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. hot milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Set oven for hot (425\u00b0).
    Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry. Beat egg slightly, stir in sugar and salt.
    Add milk gradually, mixing thoroughly.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
