Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Soak oats in buttermilk until soft.
Cream brown sugar, shortening and egg together.
Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder together.
Combine all together.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
You may bake part and keep remainder in refrigerator.
