Mock Pink Champagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. sugar
    6 qt. water
    12 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice concentrate
    12 (12 oz.) can frozen grapefruit juice concentrate
    24 (28 oz.) bottles ginger ale, chilled
    4 (25 oz.) bottles grenadine syrup
Preparation
    Bring sugar and water to a boil in large saucepan.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Let stand to cool.
    Add juice concentrates.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Pour into punch bowl.
    Add ginger ale and grenadine syrup.
    Serve at once.
