Creamy Rich Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon, diced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 medium potatoes, cubed
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 c. fresh corn kernels, cut from cob
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. light cream (half and half)
Preparation
    Cook diced bacon in a kettle until crisp.
    Remove and reserve.
    In the fat, saute onion until tender.
    Add potatoes and broth.
    Cover and simmer until potatoes are barely tender.
    Add the corn, salt and pepper and cook 10 to 15 minutes longer.
    Stir in cream and heat to boiling.
    Sprinkle top with cooked bacon.
