Five Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    raw potatoes
    raw ground beef
    onions
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 qt. tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Butter a deep baking dish, then starting at the bottom, put the ingredients into it in the following order: potatoes, ground beef, sliced onions, green pepper (if used), uncooked rice and tomatoes. Season each layer. Cover and bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
