Cheeseburger Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. grated cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 pie shells (9-inch deep)
    1 small can mushrooms (optional)
    salt, pepper and garlic to taste
Preparation
    Brown 1 pie shell.
    Saute onions and mushrooms; drain.
    Add salt, garlic and pepper.
    Brown beef; drain.
    Add all ingredients, except
    cheese, to beef.
    Into baked pie shell, put layer of beef mix, a layer of cheese, then another layer of beef and a layer of cheese.
    Put raw pie shell on top.
    Cover completely.
    Cut 4 to 6 slits in pie.
    Cook on 350\u00b0 about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Let cool 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Slice like pie to serve.
