Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
6 1/2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. walnut pieces
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation

Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt.
Add butter to chocolate and blend.
Combine sugar and eggs.
Add the chocolate mixture, beating well.
Add flour, vanilla and nuts. Bake in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 35 minutes.
Cut in squares.
Makes 2 dozen.
