Wild Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped green onion
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. uncooked long grain, wild rice
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 small bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion, pepper and drained mushrooms in butter just until tender.
    Add rice and cook, stirring, 5 minutes.
    Stir in broth, bay leaf, salt and seasoning packet from rice package.
    Pour mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes, or until rice is tender.
    Remove bay leaf and stir.
    Yields 6 servings.
