Lemon Crumb Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
1 c. fine bread crumbs
juice and rind of 1 lemon
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Preparation

Cover the bread crumbs with the water; leave for 20 minutes. Add the egg yolks (slightly beaten), juice and rind of lemon, butter, salt and sugar.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
Bake 30 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
Cool and cover with sweetened whipped cream.
