School Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. onions
    1 clove garlic
    2 c. brown sugar
    6 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. vinegar
    6 c. tomato sauce
    1/2 c. hot sauce
    2 c. prepared mustard
    3 qt. warm water
    3 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Place butter into large saucepan and slowly brown lightly. Add onions and garlic; saute.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth and well blended.
    Place over heat and allow to simmer until thickened.
    Makes 1 gallon.
