Bill'S Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large cucumbers, cut into 1/16-inch thick pieces (unpeeled)
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 medium green pepper, chopped fine (stems and seeds removed)
1 Tbsp. salt
2 tsp. celery seed
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
Preparation

Combine vegetables in a jar about 1 1/2-quart size.
Sprinkle with salt and celery seed.
Stir gently and let stand for about 1 hour.
Combine sugar and vinegar.
Stir until sugar dissolves. Pour over vegetables and stir to blend.
Cover and refrigerate. Pickles will be ready to eat in one day.
Keep covered in refrigerator.
