Chinese Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can bean sprouts
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 small can tiny green peas
    1 1/2 c. celery, sliced thin
    1 medium onion, sliced thin (in rings)
    green pepper and mushrooms, sliced thin (optional)
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sugar and vinegar.
    Add to drained vegetables; toss. Better if made the day before.
    Keeps well refrigerated.
