White House Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (28 oz.) cans Furmano's crushed tomatoes with basil
3 (10 oz.) cans whole baby clams
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
8 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
5 Tbsp. dried basil
1 lb. linguini
Preparation

Open all cans.
Brown garlic in the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Be careful not to burn garlic.
Once garlic is brown, add dried basil and brown it for no more than 10 seconds, then quickly add crushed tomatoes and juice from cans of clams, reserving clams for later.
Lower heat to slow simmer. Cook for 2 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
