Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter/margarine, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 pkg. Jell-O vanilla instant pudding
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Mix flour with baking soda.
Combine sugar (white and brown), butter, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixer bowl.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts.
(Batter will be stiff.)
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 7 dozen.
