Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped raw potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    vegetable oil or shortening
Preparation
    Put potatoes through medium blade of food chopper or chop in blender (if you like, chop 1 small onion along with them).
    Add salt, pepper, flour and egg.
    Beat with spoon until well blended. Drop large spoonfuls onto hot, well oiled skillet or griddle. Cook until bottom is browned, then turn and brown the other side. A traditional accompaniment for pot roast.
    Serves 4.
