Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

4 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Cut shortening into flour and salt until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Combine egg (slightly beaten), vinegar and water. Sprinkle over dry ingredients. Mix with fork. Let stand 10 minutes. Roll out. This recipe makes 2 (9-inch) crust pies and 1 (9-inch) pie shell. Very good for freezing. Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
