Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow Duncan Hines cake mix
    4 large boxes vanilla instant pudding
    2 cans fruit cocktail (do not drain)
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 large container Cool Whip
    coconut and nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed in long cake pan.
    Cut in line squares. Put 1/2 of cake in punch bowl, then mix instant pudding as directed.
    Put 1/2 pudding over cake, then 1 can fruit cocktail, juice and all.
    Add 1 can of the cherry pie filling, rest of cake, pudding, fruit cocktail, then cherry pie filling.
    Put it all in layers, then put the container of Cool Whip, coconut and nuts on top.
    Put in refrigerator.
