Mary'S Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. Karo syrup
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water until it hardens when dropped in cup of cold water.
    Beat 2 egg whites.
    Beat in syrup a little at a time until real fluffy.
    Then add more rapidly.
    Continue beating until semi-cool.
    Add vanilla and continue for a few minutes.
    Then stir in nuts and spoon out or spread on a sheet. Cut out into squares.
