Bishop'S Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped dates (do not use chopped dates in carton)
    1 c. sliced maraschino cherries
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Stir in nuts, dates, cherries and chocolate chips.
    In a small bowl beat eggs with sugar.
    Stir into flour mixture.
    Turn into a greased and floured 9-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove and cool on rack.
    Bread is best wrapped and stored at least 1 day before slicing and serving.
